Angela Chang is a passionate interior designer. She is a licensed and Florida-registered Interior Designer with experience in Residential, Multi-Family, Commercial, and Hospitality design projects.

Growing up in Taipei, Taiwan, Angela developed an interest in art at an early age. She was accepted to an art-and-academic-focused middle school where her love of sketching and painting began. After high school, Angela moved across the globe to attend pre-architectural school at Iowa State University. She soon realized that she enjoys the interior aspect of design more than the building itself. Angela decided that she wanted to learn more about the materiality of the interior elements and the inter-relationship between the individuals and the surrounding environments.

Angela received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of California – Los Angeles in Santa Monica, then furthered her education with a Master of Science degree in Environmental Design – Spatial Experience at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Angela understands that design is a total experience starting from the exterior surroundings, the architecture itself, interior design elements, and ending with the furniture and decoration. Every layer is built on top of one another, and they are all important to achieving the best outcomes.

Angela started her professional career in a boutique firm specializing in commercial corporate design in Los Angeles where she grew to be a well-rounded designer. In 2020, Angela moved to Longboat Key, Florida along with her partner Nick and dog Cookie. Deciding to further her professional path, Angela completed her NCIDQ certification in 2020 where she has expanded her love of design to a few new sectors - high-end residential, multi-family, and hospitality projects.

Angela is often described as lighthearted, straightforward, and detail-oriented. When she is not in front of her computer, Angela enjoys traveling, cooking & baking, camping, and a long walk on the beach with or without a fishing rod in her hand.
